Dreambox!

Each 1st grader has an account with Dreambox – an adaptive online technology-based math curriculum. Students can access their Dreambox accounts at anytime using a computer with an internet connection.

Use the link below to login to the Holy Trinity Dreambox account. Then click on the Kelly/Denny classroom. Each student created an avatar that has their first name and first initial of their last name. After clicking on your child's avatar, they will need to remember the picture password they chose.

Ticket to Read

1st Grade will begin using Ticket to Read on Friday, September 23rd. Ticket to Read is an online reading program that helps students become active readers. It facilitates independent practice from school, home, or any computer that has an internet connection. The online program teaches and builds reading skills at the individual level with adaptive instruction, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension.
The link to the program can be found below (with logins and passwords) as well as in my list of Great Websites. Each student has their own account, and teachers can access reports to track student progress. We will be working with the program at school a few times each month, but would like to encourage the students to work with it at home as well.
